Landscape photography is a genre intended to show different spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic.

I shot dark field glass approximately 3 times. I struggled with the cleanliness of the glass the first time, second time it was too boring, and the third time, with a bit of burning in the blacks, i got my favourite shot of my studio folio. It was shot on 250th and i used a perfume bottle lid to drop to make the splash, as the ice melts too quickly.

As we didn't make it to gibraltar rocks at sunrise, some rules about landscape photography were thrown out the window. Generally, things to consider, like every photo are exposure and composition. Landscape photos look best when you utilise the soft warm light at the start and end of the day. Polarizing filters allow you to cut reflections, make clouds more contrasty, and make the colours pop. Another technique to get the most out of your landscape is to take a panorama. Because landscapes are so vast, sometimes you can't fit it all in one frame. I took two landscapes, one vertical, and one horizontal, and although you have to take more shots when shooting vertically, you get a better result in the end because you get more in the frame. other things to think about are long exposures, forground interest, depth of feild and framing.
This was the result of two chrome shoots. The first one was acceptable, but boring so I added the flowers as props to ad some colour and make it a bit more interesting. I used a light tent the second time around. It has it advantages and disadvanages, those being i needed a very long lens, and it allowed for more spread out hot spots.
